Our parent company, Pavingstones, LLC, is based in southern Idaho and has been manufacturing concrete products for over 35 years. Through trial and error our production process has been honed to produce the strongest, longest lasting concrete products possible. Most concrete products available are made in a wet cast, but introducing water in this way results in bubbles and imperfections that cause the concrete to flake or crack over time. Our concrete is made with a dry cast. This production process results in concrete that is more dense with less inconsistencies. Concrete made with the dry cast production method will withstand years of traffic and weight; it will wear gracefully and safely while retaining traction for the safest and longest lasting stairs.

In 2011, a local Boise company installing stair systems including concrete stair treads for multifamily projects was tired of buying inferior concrete stair treads from out of state.  They knew we had the technology to manufacture concrete products such as pavers, step and retaining wall.  They asked if we were up to the challenge of manufacturing concrete stair treads.  We applied the principles of dry cast manufacturing and shortly we were able to mass produce concrete stair treads surpassing industry standards reinforced with steel rebar, secured bolts or weld plates with lengths from 35 inches to 47 ½ inches 2 ½ inches thick or 3 inches thick that were slip resistant and extremely dense.
